Visa Information

Visitor visas are nonimmigrant visas for persons who want to enter the United States temporarily for business (visa category B-1), tourism, pleasure or visiting (visa category B-2), or a combination of both purposes (B-1/B-2).

Shared-Ride Van Service

Arizona Stagecoach is a shared-ride van service for each arriving flight. Service to all area hotels, resorts, the University of Arizona, and business or residence locations. Ticket counter is located in the Tucson International Airport baggage claim.

Taxis

Taxis are located on the commercial roadway on the lower level in front of the terminal.

Taxi service from Tucson International Airport is provided by four companies under contract with Tucson Airport Authority. Rates are $4.50 flag drop, $2.25 each mile (about 9 miles to the University of Arizona), and $22.00 per hour waiting time. There is no extra charge for baggage or more than one person going to the same location. The State of Arizona does not regulate ground transportation at the airport. Ground transportation operators are, however, required to meet certain standards of operation and service pursuant to Tucson Airport Authority Commercial Ground Transportation Rules and Regulations. Although rates are not controlled by TAA, taxicab fares are established through a proposal process and operators are obligated to honor the rates published. All other rates posted here are furnished by the company providing the service and are subject to change.

Ground Transportation

Amtrak passenger service and major bus lines, such as Greyhound give you non-flying options for traveling to Tucson. For drivers, Tucson is on Interstate 10, the main highway between California and Florida. Tucson is also easily accessible from Mexico via Mexico Federal Highway 15 and US Interstate 19.
