Excursion to the Town of Tequila
Just as France is known for its champagne and cognac, so
is Mexico for its native elixir, tequila. Tequila is also
a sleepy town located 55 kilometers from Guadalajara that
lent the potent drink its name. Jalisco is the land of the
blue agave from which tequila is made. Participants will learn
about the modern and traditional manufacturing methods of
Mexico's most celebrated national drink. In addition to visiting
the distilleries, participants will experience the extraordinary
beauty of this mystic landscape whose soil nurtures the famous
Blue Agave Tequilana Weber plants. Cost: $35 USD
