In this study, sustainability is characterized by the
influence of socioeconomic and cultural systems on the
ability of populations to enhance ecology and primary
production. The project includes an assessment of the
relationship between natural resources management for
agricultural production and regional development. The
study examines the farmers’ household labor strategies
and economic decisions affecting the sustainability
of agricultural at local level of rural northeastern
counties of Sonora.
