Autónoma de Baja California
The project provided free quality medical and health
services to the migrating indigenous rural population
of Baja California, located at "Las Brisas"
in San Quintin, B.C., south of Tijuana, B.C. The project
worked with medical, nursing and public health students
from Universidad Autónoma de Baja California,
San Diego State University, University of California
– San Diego and the support services of community
health, non-profits and governmental social service
and health agencies located in Tijuana and Baja California.
In an effort to promote an environment without borders,
VIIDAI Project focused on building human capacity through
community service by offering field practice opportunities,
as well as community-based research.
