-Call for Proposals-

You are invited to join us at the SONA Conference 2008 in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico.
If you have a message for undergraduate and graduate students from Canada, the United States and Mexico, you could be a speaker at our conference.

Following our ninth year of building a sustainable trilateral student organization, student leaders -- graduate and undergraduate -- will assemble to continue student-led cooperation across national boundaries between Canada, the U.S. and Mexico. The conference will offer the following session formats:

Panels:
The proposed topics are:

1) Develop a Project Proposal (Workshop). Students will address mayor issues of the North American region(yet to be defined) and they will attempt to work as a unit and propose solutions for these problems.

2) Managing Conflicts Effectively. This panel will provide students with tools for making good relationships with people, and will show them how to manage conflict using simple and effective steps by identifying strategies for dealing with any type of conflict.

4) Research Projects Exhibit. Students from all over North America will have the opportunity to demonstrate their capability of success by exhibiting a project they have accomplished or that they are about to launch. This is a great occasion to gain experience and feedback from other students.
