History:

Universidad Simón Bolívar was founded on October 15, 1972 as a non-profit university by Dr. José Consuegra Higgins in Barranquilla, Colombia. The University has been dedicated to the integral formation, to the development of research and innovation, which, articulated with the State, the productive sector and the community in general, responds to the commitment to the development of the social, political, cultural and cultural environment. Therefore, the purpose of the University has been to promote a pedagogical environment that favors the development of the capacity for learning and understanding of the student. In turn, the institution’s professors have a high intellectual, ethical and moral quality, as well as a mastery of the most advanced methodology for modern teaching. Currently, the institution includes several faculties such as: Business, Basic & Biomedical Sciences, Social and Law Sciences, Health Sciences and Engineering.
