The panel will discuss research which helps to inform and provide a deeper understanding of global learning initiatives, student interaction, and gender within the administration of international education. This session will explore three research projects within the field of international education. Topics include (1) international and domestic student interaction fostered through curriculum; (2) global learning for all; and (3) women in senior international officer positions and their experiences with gender. The panel discussion will include time for each presenter to discuss lessons learned, challenges and issues encountered and how those were addressed in the research process. The remainder of the session will focus on brainstorming and sharing information on how those present can carry out their responsibilities and develop new ideas for internationalization at their institutions.
