Ground transportation:

Upon your arrival at the San Juan airport you will find that taxis are available outside. It costs approximately USD 20.00 to get from the airport to the Caribe Hilton Hotel. Taxi drivers sometimes take 1 dollar per item of luggage that they transport for you as tip, and don't be too surprised if they take it out of the change that you are due to receive.

The bellman at the hotel will help you arrange for your return trip to the airport. Taxis operate at all hours.

US Immigration Requirements:

Puerto Rico is a U.S. Commonwealth with U.S. citizenship so passports are not necessary for U.S. citizens (although a good idea nonetheless). Foreign nationals should have valid passports and visas as required.
